Vantage continues to expand its cataract practice under its Vantage Clear program and will be deploying its model and expertise within other specialty areas.

Chief Executive Officer
Brad joins Vantage as a 25+ year veteran of the healthcare industry, serving in executive roles with both healthcare service and healthcare technology companies. He is a CPA (inactive) and proven executive with success in developing, organizing, and managing operations from start-ups to multi-million-dollar businesses. Brad is a visionary, customer-driven executive leader known for consistently creating value, profitability, and aggressive growth through sound fiscal management and building, leading, and enabling high performing teams.
Brad’s career history consists of leadership positions within publicly traded companies and in many private equity and venture-backed organizations and includes roles such as President of Peak Health Solutions, Chief Revenue Officer at RazorMetrics, Chief Revenue Officer at RemitDATA, and senior leadership roles at Experian Health, HMS, and AIM Healthcare.
Brad lives in Brentwood, Tennessee and serves on several local boards and advisory committees. He has three grown sons, and enjoys traveling and spending as much time on the golf course as his schedule will allow!
President & Chief Operating Officer
Christopher Swing has been driving operational excellence for Vantage for more than ten years and has done so by building great teams. His vast leadership experience in industries ranging from healthcare and insurance to printing, manufacturing and food provides a unique perspective executing on universal best business practices and building great cultures.
As President and Chief Operating Officer for Vantage Surgical Solutions since 2012, he has optimized operations with strategic talent placement and team building, reduced overhead by streamlining the organizational structure, and led the company through an acquisition by Nashville-based Pharos Capital.
Christopher is a community leader and seasoned board member, having held board positions with Charleston Area Charitable Foundation, Clear Water Service Corp. (Past President), Eastern Illinois University Alumni Association (Past President), People First Bancshares, Inc (Director), and Effingham County Chamber of Commerce (Chair). He current member of the board of directors for Vantage Technology Holdings Inc (Director).
Christopher holds an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. He is based out of the Vantage’s Effingham, Illinois headquarters and lives in Charleston, Illinois with his wife and daughter.
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Deane is a seasoned financial executive with over 15 years of experience. He has held various leadership positions in the finance departments of a variety of well-respected healthcare organizations and with a Big 4 public accounting firm. During his tenure, he has specialized in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Deane has a proven track record of driving financial growth and profitability through effective cost management and revenue optimization strategies. He has successfully led teams in implementing robust financial controls and risk management practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
His strong analytical skills and attention to detail have enabled him to make data-driven decisions that have positively impacted business performance. He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and is a certified public accountant (CPA). As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Vantage Surgical Solutions, Deane is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, providing strategic guidance on capital allocation and investment decisions, and ensuring the company’s financial stability and long-term growth.
Andrew and his wife live in Nashville, Tennessee where their young son and daughter keep them extremely busy and highly amused.
Chief Growth Officer
Sean O’Donnell is a healthcare industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare services arena. His extensive experience in sales management and execution of business development strategies coupled with his strategic operational insights ideally position him to lead Vantage’s growth strategies. He does this by being a servant leader that inspires deep client relationships, customer-driven marketing initiatives, creates exceptional customer journeys, and drives products and services that delight both current and future customers and markets.
Prior to Vantage, Sean has held leadership positions at companies including Shearwater Health, Trinisys, Restore Rehabilitation, Conduent, Optum and Gwinnett Health System. Throughout his career, he led highly effective sales and marketing teams and participated in the development and execution of new business that resulted in multiple transactions.
Sean is married with three children and lives in Brentwood, Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Vice President, Finance
Janice Carpenter is an experienced and goal-oriented financial leader with a demonstrated track record leading the preparation and analysis of financial reports to summarize and forecast financial position. She began her career working for an international catalog business where she spearheaded the implementation of technology that integrated the sales and accounting systems to streamline the inventory management and sales process.
She joined Vantage in 2013 as a financial manager, where she leads the preparation and analysis for financial reports and has served on the implementation and continuing support team for software integration for Salesforce/Financial Force.
Janice holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. She has served on a community Board Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters where she prepped and organized several fundraisers and served as a volunteer for her community.
Senior Vice President & General Manager, Ophthalmology
Jason Carpenter is a service-driven leader with more than twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry. He has a passion for establishing and nurturing strong client relationships, exceeding operational goals, and developing new business. Jason is consistently lauded for his exceptional customer service which has led to record market share gains for Vantage, where he has served since 1999.
During his tenure, he has established himself as one of the premiere subject matter experts in the ophthalmic delivery space fueled by his vast production and technical knowledge, broad perspective across multiple delivery organizations, and exceptional surgeon collaboration.
When it comes Vantage, Jason is the epitome of “Experience. Delivered.” Not only is he brilliant at anticipating the unique needs of customers, he has been instrumental in the crafting of the workflows that drive Vantage customer success and has built the logistics and supply chain organizations to deliver.
Jason’s passion for service doesn’t stop with Vantage. He has served on the Board of Education for St. Anthony of Padua Schools (2015-2021) with four years on the executive committee, including two as President. Jason also enjoys serving on the Scholarship Committee for the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce and participates in the CEO Mentorship program.
As Regional Vice President of Sales, Chris Fields brings over twenty years of healthcare experience in serving customers’ needs with an extensive background in the medical device and pharmaceuticals industry. For Vantage, Chris leads a team of highly skilled sales professionals supporting the growth initiatives of the company throughout the Northeast and Southeast and has been instrumental in securing a strong presence in NC, SC, VA, and GA.
In his current role as Regional Vice President of Sales, he leads the South and US expansion of Vantage’s core markets. When not on the road or in a surgical suite, Chris is enjoying time with his wife, son and daughter, hunting and fishing..
During his two decades of service with Vantage, Add Owen has served as a consultative partner to hospitals, surgical facilities, and surgeons. His extensive clinical background and vast technical knowledge began as a Surgical Coordinator for Vantage in 2003 and positions him to quickly connect with surgeons and facility clinical staff to bring ophthalmology surgery solutions to their communities.
In his current role as Regional Vice President of Sales, he leads the Northern and Midwest expansion of Vantage’s core markets. When not on the road or in a surgical suite, Add keeps order as an NCAA and High School Football Official and enjoys fishing.
CLINICAL MANAGEMENT TEAM
Robin Garland is a Certified Surgical Technologist and leverages her extensive experience in the surgical environment to create ideal experiences for Vantage customers and their patients. Robin proudly served in the United States Navy and has since leveraged that experience to “lead from the front” where she develops fluid teams, cultivates winning attitudes, exceeds goals and expectations, and delivers outstanding customer experiences.
Robin has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and believes that everything is ultimately “sales”, and that relationship building is the key to success. Outside of work, Robin is an active participant in animal rescue with a focus on her breed of choice, the Australian Cattle Dog.
Nate Rhinehart is a customer-focused professional with over 10 years of operational and sales leadership success. As a clinical manager for Vantage, he drives a culture of superior client satisfaction. He has attracted and motivated a team of like-minded, dedicated, and hardworking individuals who share the same level of passion for delighting the customer.
Nate holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and started his professional career as a Personal Training Director where he helped countless people achieve their personal goals.
Known to be thoughtful, professional, and engaging, Kyle has been part of the Vantage team since 2020 where he serves as a clinical manager for the southeast region. Kyle brings to Vantage customers more than a decade of experience in the ophthalmology space working with surgical facilities, surgeons, and the thing he is most passionate about, patients. Kyle lives in Raleigh, NC where he adores spending time with his amazing son.
When Kyle is not dedicating his time to his profession, Kyle enjoys biking, hiking, playing golf, and the occasional trip back “home” to the beach.
